The meetings of the Association of the Balkan News Agencies - Southeast Europe (ABNA-SE) which have been taking place for almost 30 years now contribute to mutual cooperation in many areas, ABNA-SE outgoing President Skender Krasniqi said here on Monday at the 30th General Assembly of the Association which is hosted by BTA. He emphasized that the day has come for signing documents officializing the Association.
Krasniqi, who owns the KosovaPress Agency, recalled that the previous 29th General Assembly of the Balkan news agencies took place in the Kosovo capital Pristina in 2021. He thanked the BTA team for the hospitality and the excellent organization of the event.
The speaker recalled that the Kosovo representatives have asked for enhanced cooperation in the field of tourism.
Over the years, the work of ABNA-SE has included Albania's ATA, Bosnia's FENA, Republika Srpska's SRNA, Bulgaria's BTA, Greece's ANA-MPA, Cyprus's CNA, Kosovo's KosovaPress, North Macedonia's MIA, Romania's Agerpress, Serbia's TANJUG, Turkey's Anadolu Agency, and Croatia's HINA.
