Thousands of Bulgarian citizens flock to the town of Kırklareli every Wednesday for shopping. The city, which is the centrе of the region of the same name, is located at the foot of Strandzha mountain. A motorway connects Kırklareli with the Dereköy/Malko Tarnovo border checkpoint on the border with Bulgaria.
