site.btaBulgaria, North Macedonia Update Business Cooperation Roadmap
The President of the Bulgarian-Macedonian Chamber of Commerce Plamen Pavlov and the President of the Macedonian-Bulgarian Industrial Chamber Kiril Lazarov will present to the governments of the two countries an updated Roadmap for business cooperation. This will take place in the framework of an economic forum in Skopje on December 7, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said on Monday. As a start, the two business organisations are joining forces and developing joint pilot projects on both sides of the border.
The business community reports that there is not a single implemented goal from the previous Roadmap, which was handed to the two governments in January 2019 at the previous Economic Forum in Skopje. The business communities on both sides are dissatisfied with politicisation and call for change.
Representatives of the Bulgarian-Macedonian Chamber of Commerce, which hosted the forum, discussed the state of bilateral business relations and the preparations for the Economic Forum in Skopje with members of a delegation from the Republic of North Macedonia, led by Ambassador Agneza Rusi Popovska.
