site.btaSerbian Experts to Get Acquainted with State Aid Policies in Agriculture
A delegation of experts from the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management is paying a visit to Bulgaria between November 15 and 17, the Agriculture Ministry here said. The aim is to build capacity for bringing in line the national legislation with EU laws in the area of agriculture, rural development, food safety and veterinary an phytosanitary policy.
"I am sure that the exchange of good practices and the lessons learnt from Bulgaria after its EU accession will help the successful implementation of the financial mechanisms in agriculture in Serbia,” said Deputy Agriculture Minister Krum Nedelkov during the meeting. He specified that Bulgarian experts from the Agriculture Ministry will present the legislation framework in connection with state aid.
The Serbian delegation will get acquainted with the Rural Development Programme and support for viticulture and the key elements of veterinary control.
