Serbian Interior Minister Bratislav Gasic met with Bulgarian Ambassador in Belgrade Petko Doykov on Friday and commented that the two countries will strengthen their joint actions in the border area, Serbia’s N1 website reported. Gasic underscored that Serbia is under big pressure due to the migrant flow from Bulgaria, but the Serbian police in cooperation with their Bulgarian colleagues will increase the control.

One of the priorities in the work of the Ministry of Interior is the fight against organized crime groups smuggling people across the borders, in order to ensure the security and safety of all citizens, Gasic also said, as quoted by N1.
