One of the agreements concerns a project related to the local Bulgarian community, freedom of speech and multiculturalism in media, while another project is focused on cultural diplomacy and young people.
A project for early detection of breast diseases (benign and malignant) by ultrasound in women in rural areas of the South-Eastern Serbia region will also be supported. Support will also be provided to a project for the development and consolidation of the lectureship on Bulgarian language and culture, of which the University of Nis is the beneficiary.
The selection of the projects was made together with the beneficiary partners and in compliance with Bulgarian foreign policy focused, among other things, on strengthening the European perspective of the Western Balkan countries and fostering the socio-economic development of the partner countries.
