President Rumen Radev will meet with the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez here on Tuesday afternoon, the President's Press Secretariat reported. The meeting will be a follow-up of the agreements on the development of bilateral relations in the energy sector, reached at the meeting between Bulgarian President Radev and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on December 9, 2022.

The agenda will include opportunities for further cooperation between the two countries, including natural gas supply and new partnerships.

Earlier Tuesday, Bulgargaz and the Turkish company Botas will sign a 13-year agreement, which will allow the Bulgarian company access to Botas's terminals and the gas transmission network. The signing will be attended by caretaker Minister of Energy Rossen Hristov.
