site.btaBulgaria Derogates from EU Ban on Russian Oil for Aircraft, Heating Use by its Interior Ministry

At its weekly meeting Wednesday, the government derogated from the EU ban on Russian oil for aircraft and heating purposes by the Interior Ministry. The decision allows the start of new procurement procedures and the execution of signed contracts and framework agreements for deliveries after November 10, 2022.

The derogation is called for by the needs of the Interior Ministry for the fulfillment of its constitutional obligation to protect public order, the life and health of Bulgarian people, and is valid until the end of 2024.
