site.btaExtraordinary Parliamentary Sitting on Dec. 20 to Debate on Import of Russian Crude Oil

The National Assembly will hold an extraordinary sitting on December 20, Deputy Parliament Chairman Nikola Minchev said at the end of Friday's sitting. On the agenda is first reading of a bill regarding control over the application of the derogation from purchasing, importing or transferring seaborne crude oil and petroleum products originating from Russia or exported from Russia. 

The bill has been tabled by Movement for Rights and Freedoms leader Mustafa Karadayi and a group of MPs.

Also on the agenda is first reading of amendments to the Act on Administrative Regulation of Economic Activities Related to Crude Oil and Petroleum Products. The draft revisions have been tabled by Ivaylo Mirchev MP of Democratic Bulgaria and a group of MPs.

Question Time is also scheduled for December 20.
