The parliamentary Energy Committee Wednesday supported on first reading a bill to extend the effect of provisions of the 2022 State Budget Act, the 2022 State Public Social Insurance Budget Act, and the 2022 National Health Insurance Fund Budget Act until the adoption of the corresponding budget acts for 2023. The extension of the 2022 state budget received 11 votes in favour and 7 against.

A Finance Ministry expert told the Committee that the bill was elaborated by the caretaker government as a means to ensure funding for next year, since there is no regular cabinet to propose to Parliament the main budget bills with the corresponding policies and priorities.
