The condition of the Secretary of the King Boris III Club in Ohrid, Hristian Pendikov, is improving, Sofia's Military Medical Academy (MMA), where Pendikov is treated after surgery, told BTA. He is still in intensive care and will probably be moved to another unit in the coming days, the hospital said.
The Bulgarian was attacked in Ohrid last week and seriously injured. He was flown to MMA for treatment the following day. The assault came after a series of attacks against Bulgarian cultural clubs in the Republic of North Macedonia, and sparked sharp reactions, especially from Sofia.
